Our Origins

The work that inspired us.

From quiet acts of family service to a foundation rooted in love.

Sevā begins with a simple act: seeing a need, responding with love, and helping another person feel seen.

Long before the formal creation of Sevā Love Foundation, our family was connected to direct, volunteer-led humanitarian work — supporting children, families, widows, the elderly, people with disabilities, and families facing medical or financial hardship.

We also supported established charitable work helping children's homes, orphanages, education, healthcare, shelter, supplies, staffing, and long-term care for vulnerable children.

Together, these experiences became part of the heart behind Sevā Love Foundation. They showed us that meaningful service does not always begin with a large institution. Sometimes it begins with one family, one child, one home, one urgent need — and a small circle of people willing to help.

Two Roots

The hands and the structure.

Direct Compassion

Family-led relief through Mishaneh Charity.

Direct, volunteer-led support for families and children facing hardship — including food, clothing, school supplies, medical-related support, emergency assistance, and shelter repairs.

Structured Care

Supporting children's homes through Paradise Charity.

Charitable support for children's homes and orphanage facilities — including construction, supplies, operations, staffing, and ongoing care for vulnerable children, in partnership with Corazón de Vida and others.

Mishaneh Charity

Direct hands. Quiet care.

To help people feel supported, protected, and not forgotten.

Through Mishaneh Charity, a trusted family-led effort, supporters have helped provide practical assistance to families and children facing hardship. This work has included groceries, clothing, school supplies, winter jackets, emergency family assistance, medical-related support, and basic shelter repairs.

Families have been identified through trusted local relationships, home visits, social workers, and direct community connections. Support has been documented through photos, receipts, payment confirmations, and follow-up messages shared with supporters.

Stories of Impact

Quiet moments. Lasting effect.

Identifying details have been removed to protect privacy.

A young man facing brain cancer continued working while caring for his elderly parents. Support helped ease the burden of medical and household expenses.

ii.

A widowed mother raising two teenage daughters worked difficult jobs to support her family. As the school year approached, the children received help for school-related expenses.

iv.

Children in a remote village were preparing for school with very little. Through Mishaneh, shoes, bags, and stationery were purchased for those in greatest need.

v.

A mother and her blind daughter, living in a small room and facing serious financial hardship, received support for basic living needs and medical-related expenses.

Paradise Charity

Building systems of care.

Through Paradise Charity and its work connected to Corazón de Vida and others, our family supported projects that helped strengthen children's homes and orphanage facilities in Mexico and beyond.

This included general donations, construction support, operations, supplies, staff support, ongoing care, events, and site visits. The work showed us the importance of building not only moments of relief, but lasting systems of care — safe homes, loving staff, education, facilities, healthcare support, nutrition, and long-term stability for children.

Where Mishaneh showed us the power of direct, personal compassion, Paradise Charity showed us the importance of structured charitable support — building places where children can be cared for consistently over time. Together, these experiences shaped the heart of Sevā Love Foundation.

Why These Stories Matter

The heart was always the same.

Some support reached families through trusted personal relationships and volunteer-led networks. Other support flowed through established charitable organizations working to strengthen children's homes and long-term care systems.

But the heart was the same: service with dignity. The purpose was not simply to give. It was to remind people that they are not forgotten.

Love can become service. Service can become structure. Structure can become lasting impact.
